I recently started reading a blog called Copyblogger. I can honestly say that I think it is pretty much the best marketing blog ever. And I'm not the only one. They have over 120,000 subscirbers to their emails and are consistently listed as the top marketing blog.
Why do I think they are so great? Because I've yet to read something on the blog that I disagree with. Furthermore, they are adept at eloqently explaining the very concepts that I spend my entire day trying to convince clients to adhere to.
Here's a little snippit:
People want compelling content, so compelling content is your advertising. And using the right words in the right persuasive way (that’s copywriting) determines not only how well your site converts visitors into sales, but also how much traffic you get and how well you rank in search engines.
Delivering compelling free content is the smartest strategy for growing an authoritative website and your business, so it’s your copywriting and content marketing skills that will set you apart for success.
