Mallory Grant: Wardrobe and Image Curator

I've been working with my friend, Mallory Domingue (who now lives in New Orleans)  to brand herself as a wardrobe and image consultant. Website coming very soon! In the meantime check our her philosophy.

"In contemporary art, the curator is responsible for the  acquisition, interpretation and care of a museum s collection. As a  wardrobe and image curator, I work with clients to build the ultimate  wardrobe collection.

A carefully curated wardrobe is timeless.  As with anything in life, more doesn't always mean better. I'll help you  sort through your existing wardrobe to find those great pieces that  you've quite possibly been neglecting.  We'll pair down your options,  finding what fits and what works.

Perhaps the most daunting  aspect of fashion for many women is that it is constantly evolving.  Hemlines go up and down with the seasons and key colors change.  Not  only will I help with your existing wardrobe, I'll also work to help you  sort through the trends of today to find new pieces that work back with  what you already have.

As the ever wise and chic Coco Chanel  once said,  Fashion is always of the time in which you live. It is not  something standing alone. But the grand problem, the most important  problem, is to rejeuvenate women. To make women look young. Then their  outlook changes. They feel more joyous.

I keep this in mind when  styling each client. Though each client has a style that's entirely her  own, the goal and end result is the same.  Visiting her closet becomes  less daunting and her outlook changes."

So much fun! I love lifestyle branding. It's also nice to work with someone I know so well I can write her philosophy myself.
